Learn about the exciting sport of fencing in our beginner epee course. Over four weeks, participants will master fundamental fencing techniques, footwork and the etiquette of this historic sport led by accredited coaches.

Week 1 kicks off with the basics of the equipment and the en guard position to build a solid foundation. Weeks 2 and 3 delve into offensive and defensive strategies, honing in on agility and coordination. The fourth week introduces friendly sparring sessions, applying newfound skills in a supportive environment. Every session involves bouting using the electronic score boxes.

By the end, participants will not only have learned the art of fencing but also developed teamwork and discipline. You will be 'armed' with the knowledge and skills to join the club as a member and participate in weekly club night open bouting and local competitions. 

Safety measures and good sportsmanship are emphasised throughout the course.

The cost is $80 per person paid by card at registration.

You can register a place for yourself and a friend or partner when registering. Choose the additional participant number and add their name. The total owing will be $160.
